How much time is involved in mentoring?
The mentor is expected to see his/her student once a week for the first month, then once every other week or more

What kind of financial obligations do I have in volunteering?
The mentors are asked to take their students to lunch and pay for that. Beyond that, we ask that the mentors do not spend money on their students without discussing it with the coordinators.

What kinds of mentors are you looking for?
We are looking for people who have been successful in life, not necessarily financially, but as members of society who have healthy attitudes, positive outlooks and are kind.

Do I have the same student all the time?
We hope that the mentor will make a strong connection with their student and will enjoy an ongoing relationship.

Where is the mentoring done?
We provide mentors for Los Altos High School, Mountain View High School and Alta Vista High School.
